Shipping rates are based on location and weight, and are pulled directly into our website from the UPS & FedEx databases. Shipping Charges can not be changed.
- The weight and location of each item adds up to calculate your final freight charge.
- In 2015 FedEx & UPS started calculating the weight of items based on the "Dimensional Size" of the box shipped. This can cause items that are light weight, but take up significant space to have a higher "Dimensional Weight" and therefore cause the shipping charge to be more.
- Dimensional Weight examples of items would be Pre-Formed Boxes such as Rigid Round Mod Boxes, Jewelry Boxes, or Tins, that take up a lot of space in the shipping box. A case of 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” x 1-1/2” Jewelry boxes weighs 7 pounds, but the dimensional weight that UPS & FedEx use is 17 pounds.
